The blog's purposes are:

• to organize further training
• to chronicle each training that takes place (date, location, type of training)
• to add a sense of momentum and continuity to ongoing TMC-CWA efforts
• to underscore the need to rebuild H&S committees
• to validate, support, and inspire CWA trainers to do high quality work
• to aid CWA locals and districts in identifying potential H&S activists
• to highlight key TMC principles ("don't blame the worker" "fix the hazard" "finding multiple root causes" etc)
• to point CWA H&S activists to useful resources (OSHA, NIOSH, TMC, USW)
• to act as a quick (one-stop) reference of CWA H&S activity for the CWA at large
• to strive to keep alive the vibrant and forward-looking legacy of Tony Mazzocchi
