Alcatel-Lucent 2014 Bargaining Report #15 - May 24, 2014 - 11:59 PM

After a day of tough bargaining the Union and the Company have NOT reached an agreement.  While several issues have been resolved, the major ones -- wages, benefits and Alcatel-Lucent’s plans for Installation work – have NOT come close to being settled.  However, we feel we have made enough progress to continue bargaining.  We have agreed to extend the agreement for two weeks, which means the next expiration date is June 7, 2014, at 11:59 p.m. 

We will continue to work and you must continue to mobilize.  This extension does NOT mean “business as usual.”  It is more important than ever to let the Company know how you feel about their “Shi(f)ty” plans and that we are demanding our place in the future of Alcatel-Lucent.
