Re: 2009 Avaya Award
Avaya has announced that it did not meet its financial targets in FY09 and accordingly, there is no payout under the Short Term Incentive Plan (STIP) for salaried (formerly management) employees. As you know, the Avaya Award for Represented Employees shares the same performance measures as the salaried plan. Per our negotiated agreement, the 2009 Avaya Award payout will be the minimum payout of $580 and will appear in paychecks payable December 4, 2009.
