Avaya Quarterly Pension Payments

We have received a number of e-mails from active and retired members who received a notice advising them that Avaya has not made quarterly deposits to the Pension plan. After checking with our bankruptcy Attorney, we have been advised that this is a correct fact. However, this DOES NOT IMPACT YOUR VESTED BENEFITS OR PAYMENTS.  Before any change to your pension benefits can be made, the Company would need to file a motion with the bankruptcy court and obtain a court order. The Company has not made this request - and we understand that at least, for now, the Company does not intend to make this request.
