AT&T Bargaining Report #85

The Bargaining Team met with the company today to pass a proposal for the funding of the Alliance. We are continuing to prepare counter proposals on our other outstanding issues.

Regarding the email that AT&T sent to our members today; we believe they made an ill-advised blunder in their statement comparing AT&T’s final updated proposal to Verizon’s recent agreement. For example, Verizon’s healthcare costs are significantly lower than AT&T’s current proposal. We are in the process of drawing up our own comparison between these contracts regarding the difference in the healthcare costs.

As always we stand united in negotiating a fair and just contract for our members.

Please continue to mobilize by using political pressure, media, community involvement and any other means that will convince the company we are Union Strong.
