AT&T Legacy T Bargaining Report #2

Apparently the Company turned a deaf ear to the Union’s opening statement yesterday. Today they passed a partial proposal on Article 19 (Benefit Plans, Programs, and Policies). The proposal included extremely retrogressive language on Healthcare and short term disability as well as a freeze on pension accruals.

It’s outrageous that the Company feels the need to enter into every round of bargaining passing proposals like this knowing full well we have no interest in retrogressive language. Remember this company had a net income of $29.5 Billion in 2017.

The committee is caucusing and we continue to draft proposals. We plan to bargain with the company until we reach a fair and just contract.
