CWA Leads Fight for Fair Health Care Reform

CWA President Larry Cohen and other union presidents have been in marathon discussions at the White House this week to find a fair way to finance health care reform. Cohen and leaders from about 10 unions plus the AFL-CIO and Change to Win met with President Obama and White House staff several times this week, with sessions lasting for many hours and past midnight.

NABET-CWA President John Clark to Retire

NABET-CWA President John Clark will retire at the end of January, winding up 43 years in the union he joined while working at NBC Radio in New York City. Clark was working as a vacation relief engineer at the radio network when he joined NABET Local 11 in 1967 (now NABET-CWA Local 51011.)
