For months, CWA members have been gearing up for the 2022 midterm elections. From participating in political activist trainings, to organizing GOTV rallies, knocking on doors, phone banking, and text banking, CWAers have been actively mobilizing to secure pro-worker wins and protect the rights of working families at the polls.

More than one million people across the state of North Carolina, many in rural Appalachian counties, and one third of New Yorkers lack regular internet access.

CWA and Microsoft recently launched "Get Connected," an initiative aiming to boost enrollment in the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP), which provides low-cost broadband service.

This year, thirteen CWA leaders, one from each District and Sector, came together for a week-long program to sharpen their skills in public speaking, organizing, mobilizing, collective bargaining, legislative advocacy, and building solidarity.

CWAers are promoting pro-worker legislation and pro-workers candidates around the country.
