Bargaining continues for separate contracts covering CWA members at AT&T Midwest, AT&T West, AT&T East and AT&T Legacy. Bargaining teams are reporting some progress and are calling on members to step up mobilization to show the companies that we?re serious about our fight to hold on to the American Dream.

Mobilization is the word across CWA districts, where AT&T members are holding informational pickets, leafleting, wearing red and black, and standing up in solidarity to let management know we're serious about reaching a fair contract.

At the AT&T annual meeting in Salt Lake City, Utah, shareholders heard a loud and clear message from CWA leaders and members: AT&T should be helping to "lead our economic recovery by continuing to provide good, middle class jobs. We are the network. We deserve a fair contract."

This is the statement made by Ralph Maly, CWA Vice President for Telecommunications and Technologies at the AT&T Annual Meeting, April 27, 2012 in Salt Lake City.

CWA AT&T members in California and Nevada have a simple question for management: "Where's the Fairness?" As bargaining for a new contract covering 18,000 workers at AT&T West continues, CWAers are taking that message everywhere.
