Help Restore IUE-CWA Jobs To Fenn Manufacturing
Here's how you can help Fenn workers regain jobs with justice:
- Write to SPX Corp.'s Chairman, President and CEO John B. Blystone and urge him to end the lockout, put these skilled workers back on the job and bargain fairly for a new agreement. Write Blystone at SPX Corp., 2300 One Wachovia Center, 301 South College St., Charlotte, NC 28202.
- Write to Thomas E. White, Secretary of the Army. Tell him that the country's national defense and security requires that SPX settle this dispute. During the strike and lockout, SPX has tried to keep up production by hiring temporary workers to supplement management. This raises real concerns about the quality of the parts being produced for customers Sikorsky and McDonnell Douglas, and ultimately, the U.S. Army. Contact White at the Department of Defense, 1000 Defense Pentagon, Washington, DC 20301. Fax: (202) 614-5520.
- Become an e-activist in the fight for fairness at Fenn. Find out more at ga.cwa-union.org.
- Join the picket line and show your support for the Fenn workers when you're in the Northeast. The address: 300 Fenn Road in Newington, Conn.
