Union collective bargaining agreements and worker mobilization are the most powerful tools workers have for ensuring artificial intelligence is developed and used ethically. While the rapid adoption and increasing capabilities of AI has caught regulators by surprise, workers are already holding company executives and management accountable for these systems and the impacts they have on workers and our communities. Our panelists will outline a worker-led approach to AI which ensures technology enhances job quality without undercutting job security.
