Virginia House Bill 439, currently being considered in Virginia’s General Assembly, will help protect our jobs, reduce outsourcing and keep American jobs and Virginia tax dollars in the Commonwealth. Call your legislator today and ask them to support HB 439, which would:
- Require call center employers, including Verizon and AT&T, to notify the state if they intend to relocate at least 30% of call volume overseas.
- Any employers who move jobs overseas may lose all grants, loans, tax benefits, and state contracts.
- Require all state agencies to ensure that all state business related to call center work is performed by companies located in Virginia, so that Virginia taxpayer dollars support Virginia jobs.
