Tell Your Senator to Pass a Bi-Partisan Relief Bill and Extend Payroll Support for Airline Workers

This year Passenger Service Agents and our industry are facing an unprecedented crisis due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Thanks to our mobilization last March, the CARES Act passed. It included the Payroll Support Program (PSP) which delayed involuntary furloughs until October when it expired after Senate negotiations stalled.

After months of stalled negotiations and untold suffering, a bi-partisan group of Senators is now seriously negotiating a bill that would include payroll support for the airline industry and provide recall protections for furloughed workers. If passed, the bill would extend the PSP through March 31, 2021, carrying us into the new year when President-elect Biden has promised to support a real stimulus package. We need urgent action on this now.

We must all tell our Senators that aviation workers need PSP extension now!
