The Senate Transportation Appropriations Committee has authorized $500,000 for a research study on the effects of flight attendant fatigue, based on a report by the Federal Aviation Administration.
The 9,200 flight attendants at Northwest Airlines now are voting on a tentative agreement reached after a week of intensive bargaining between AFA-CWA and Northwest management.
