On Wednesday, July 25, federal officials, union representatives, and Verizon negotiators met in Washington, DC. The contract dispute between Verizon and its CWA and IBEW workers is now under federal mediation.
To mark a year since bargaining started, CWA and IBEW members and allies across the nation will engage in actions during the week of August 6-11, culminating with a massive rally in Philadelphia.
