The Communications Workers of America (CWA) filed an Unfair Labor Practice charge with the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) against Verizon Wireless today on behalf of Jesse Mason, who was illegally fired this week after joining with his coworkers to organize a union.
CWA members hosted a public town hall meeting in Casa Grande, Ariz., to discuss the need for expanding broadband access throughout the state, especially to underserved communities.
