Verizon Makes Outrageous Proposal to Eliminate Current Health Care Plans

Outrageous!

Verizon wants to end the major health benefit plans that CWA has negotiated over decades.

In what is sure to be only the company’s  first blow, Verizon has proposed simply eliminating the PPOs and network plans that have been in place for decades and replacing them with high deductible plans.

The company wants to shift thousands of dollars in costs to our members, without any improvements in health care quality or any support to navigate the health care system.

They’re saying, “You’re On Your Own” (YOYO) to our members and their families who need quality, affordable health care.

There’s only one way to respond to this outrageous proposal: Mobilize, Mobilize, Mobilize!
