More than 700 CWAers Take Our Messge to Capitol Hill During CWA Legislative-Political Conference

Washington, D.C. -- More than 700 members of the Communications Workers of America are in Washington, D.C., for CWA's 2007 legislative-political conference. All general sessions will be held at the Hyatt Regency on Capitol Hill, New Jersey Ave., N.W., in the Regency Ballroom.

Afternoons are spent meeting with congressional representatives and staff, and in issues workshops covering workers rights and the Employee Free Choice Act, Speed Matters – CWA's campaign for universal high-speed Internet networks, health care and other topics. The schedule for Tuesday and Wednesday: 

Tuesday, March 27

8:15     Session opens.
