Bargaining Report 62 Legacy T June 30, 2012

Bargaining Report 62        Legacy T      June 30, 2012

Your Legacy T Bargaining team met all day yesterday and will be meeting today to try to narrow the gap on several key issues.  While we have already TA’ed our current JOG language, which the company originally wanted to eliminate, we’re still working on preserving watermarks for Article 43 and the total Legacy T workforce and a maximum number for involuntary lay-offs (like we have in our current in our “Employment Security” agreement.)

We had extensive discussion on improving the Cash Balance Account as more of our members under the CBA begin to reach retirement eligibility.

Finally, we continued discussions on absence, which is a key issue for the company.

This morning our team is meeting to review yesterday’s discussion prior to our meeting with the company team early this afternoon.
