Labor Relations History

The headquarters staff can provide details of any contracts CWA has with the employer covering other units.

The headquarters staff can also provide information from the NLRB Election History database of all representation elections involving CWA or other unions at operations of a particular employer in past years. Using that information, you can contact other unions to talk about the employer's past tactics and current labor relations policies.

The AFL-CIO's Unicore database combines corporate structure information from Dun & Bradstreet and unionized status information from AFL-CIO affiliates. Unicore reports show all company locations, union representation, if any, and additional information: number of employees, parent company, secondary business name, and ULP and OSHA violations. The Unicore report must be requested through the CWA Research Librarian.
