Letter from Annie Hill
Dear CWA Activists:
I enthusiastically encourage all CWA women and men to join us at this important conference.
One hundred years ago, the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory Fire, a disaster that claimed the lives of young women & immigrants, led to an explosion of changes in safety regulations and union organizing. Today, women are disproportionately affected by an anti-worker, anti-union assault in the US. We can help change this course of action.
Please join the CWA Women’s Committee at this informative Conference designed to mobilize members by applying lessons from the past to find solutions to today’s problems in today’s world. The Conference will be packed with energetic speakers, interactive presentations and workshops that both teach and motivate participation in the current struggles women face.
Once again, union women can be the "spark for change."
See you in Chicago.
In Unity,
Annie Hill
Executive Vice President
